Refunds & Returns
This Refund and Returns Policy applies to all purchases from The Bantu Marketplace.
At The Bantu Marketplace, customer satisfaction is our priority.
We offer refunds, and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and on the terms set out in this Policy.
Any benefits set out in this Policy may apply in addition to consumer's rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please read this Policy before making a purchase, so that you understand your rights as well as what you can expect from us in the event that you are not happy with your purchase.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Under the Australian Consumer Law:
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure or any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Returns will be accepted for damaged or faulty products, or if your order has been incorrectly processed by The Bantu Marketplace.
A refund will be issued provided that:
- You contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days of receiving the item, citing your order number and identifying the defect. Please retain and send photographic evidence of the error or damage; and
- You return the item within 7 days of your refund request being confirmed by us.
CHANGE OF MIND
We do not offer refunds if you simply change your mind, or find the same product cheaper elsewhere.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS PROCESS
In the event that you receive a damaged or faulty product, or if your order has been incorrectly processed by The Bantu Marketplace:
- Contact us at email@example.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include your full name, address, order number, and the reason for your refund request.
- Any damaged product must be returned in the condition it was in when you received it, together with any packaging and other items which you received with the damaged product. Please provide photographic evidence of the damaged products or packaging.
- You will receive a notification email once your return has been received. We will inspect the returned item(s) and confirm whether the refund has been approved.
- If your return is not approved you will not receive a refund and will have to pay for the associated shipping costs.
SHIPPING COSTS FOR RETURNS
Once you have contacted us regarding a refund we will send you a confirmation email with shipping guidelines.
If the returned product(s) is eligible for replacement or refund under the terms of this Policy then we will reimburse you for the reasonable shipping costs for the returned product(s).
We aim to process any refund requests within 14 days of having received them.
HOW TO RETURN PRODUCTS
We will pay any refunds in the same form as the original purchase or to the same account or credit card as was used to make the original purchase, unless otherwise determined in our sole discretion.
You must provide proof of purchase in order to be eligible for a refund.
